Welcome to Hydesville Tower School; it is my privilege to be the Headteacher of such an exciting place of learning. As parents and carers, we all want the very best for our children. It is crucial that they are encouraged to fulfil their academic potential; but of equal importance is their preparation for the everchanging world beyond education, a world presenting both challenges and opportunities.
Here at Hydesville Tower School, we are a happy community in which everyone can do and be their best. We pride ourselves on providing a breath-taking array of opportunities, not only within our traditional academic curriculum but also throughout our extensive extra-curricular and enrichment programmes.

👟 On Monday, our Year 6 pupils completed the third leg of the Hydesville Challenge 2026 with an incredible Sponsored Walk in support of The Graiseley Family Hub — a fantastic local charity providing vital care and support to families within our community. 💙
Despite the dreary weather, the determination, teamwork and resilience shown by our pupils was truly inspiring! Navigating each 900m circuit of the Arboretum, every pupil completed at least 26 laps — an amazing 23.4km (14.6 miles) for such a worthy cause. 👏
We certainly have some very sore feet in school today! 😅
If you would like to support our amazing pupils and help this deserving local charity, donations are still open. Every contribution will make a difference, and all funds raised will be presented to The Graiseley Family Hub very soon.
