Meet our Headteacher
Welcome to Hydesville Tower School; it is my privilege to be the Headteacher of such an exciting place of learning. As parents and carers, we all want the very best for our children. It is crucial that they are encouraged to fulfil their academic potential; but of equal importance is their preparation for the everchanging world beyond education, a world presenting both challenges and opportunities.
Here at Hydesville Tower School, we are a happy community in which everyone can do and be their best. We pride ourselves on providing a breath-taking array of opportunities, not only within our traditional academic curriculum but also throughout our extensive extra-curricular and enrichment programmes.

Today, on Remembrance Day 2025, we came together for a moving service to honour and remember all those who gave their tomorrow for our today. ❤️
Staff and pupils joined in reflection and respect, paying tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of countless individuals who have served.
Our Headteacher Mrs Samra also laid a wreath at the National Memorial Arboretum, in Lichfield - within hours of The Princess of Wales’ own visit.
Our Prep School pupils also marked the occasion with a Remembrance Day Assembly on Friday 7th November.

Exciting Day at Hydesville Tower School! 🚨
Yesterday, we were thrilled to welcome The @britisharmy to our school!
Our Year 10 pupils kicked off the morning with an inspiring careers talk, exploring the wide range of opportunities the Army offers. Following this, both Year 10 and 11 pupils got hands-on with practical Army-based activities, putting teamwork, skill and resilience to the test. 💪
All of this took place between 10 am – 12 midday, just in time for a well-earned healthy lunch! 🥗
A huge thank you to the soldiers who visited, shared their insights, and inspired our pupils! 👏

Despite our central location, we've maximised outdoor space with direct access to the nearby Walsall Arboretum.
Ongoing investments ensure top-notch facilities, including a recent transformation of our school hall into a fully functioning theatre. With wireless coverage throughout, technology is seamlessly integrated into every aspect of learning.
