Welcome to Hydesville Tower School; it is my privilege to be the Headteacher of such an exciting place of learning. As parents and carers, we all want the very best for our children. It is crucial that they are encouraged to fulfil their academic potential; but of equal importance is their preparation for the everchanging world beyond education, a world presenting both challenges and opportunities.
Here at Hydesville Tower School, we are a happy community in which everyone can do and be their best. We pride ourselves on providing a breath-taking array of opportunities, not only within our traditional academic curriculum but also throughout our extensive extra-curricular and enrichment programmes.

Hydesville Tower School was ranked in top 25 on The Times Parent Power League Tables for 2025. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and to have had the exceptional work of our pupils and staff recognised in such a prestigious publication.
We were placed in the ‘Top fee paying schools with no sixth form’ category. Only the top 1,600 schools across the country feature in the guide, which was compiled based on examination results - a huge accolade for us at Hydesville.

What an inspiring day on Wednesday for White Ribbon Day (25th November)!
Earlier this week, our Senior School pupils came together to take a stand against violence towards women and girls. During lunchtime, they filled out powerful postcards, each one sharing how they spoke up, supported others, and challenged violence.
Their voices, passion and commitment made the whole event truly uplifting.

Our pupils had an outrageously magical time at the Cinderella theatre show! Chaos erupted (the fun kind!) when the Ugly Sisters dramatically chose Mr. Burnham from the crowd, Mrs. Kenton was royally summoned to squeeze her foot into Cinderella’s legendary glass slipper and Khushie became the hero of the kingdom by discovering the mythical golden key and winning a super-sparkly prize! Truly a day of giggles, surprises, and pure fairy-tale mayhem!

Our Y9 & Y10 boys kicked off their first competitive fixture in style with a 3–1 victory over Maple Hayes in a fast-paced 6-a-side indoor match!

🚦 Road Safety Week at Hydesville Tower School! 🚶♀️🚶♂️✨
Our brilliant Year 4 and Year 5 pupils took their learning beyond the classroom last week as they headed out into the streets around school for a hands-on road safety adventure!
From spotting key road signs to identifying the safest places to cross, our young learners showed fantastic awareness and teamwork. They discussed how to stay safe around traffic, recognised potential hazards, and put their knowledge into action by practising responsible road crossing.
We’re so proud of their confidence, enthusiasm, and sensible decision-making. 🌟
